The Desk from Hoboken by ML Condike is an engaging mystery read that had me turning the pages at a quick pace! Hoboken has the spirit of a cozy mystery, but with much more of a moody undertone behind it - in the best way. It was delightful to read about RaeJean Hunter, a forensic genealogist, and the several situations she finds herself in and following her along with her research. There is a good amount of history and detailsin this story, and readers who enjoy analytical stories will surely enjoy The Desk from Hoboken. 
It is quite obvious that Condike knows what she's talking about as we read RaeJean Hunter's tale. Much time, effort, and exploration went into creating this story - Condike's dedication is apparent in each piece of this tale. As I mentioned before - readers who like a more analytical and moody atmosphere to their mysteries will surely enjoy this book!
