Review: Pringle Prawn

I love fairy stories! And I have definitely enjoyed writing by Michael Scott Clifton before. I enjoyed everything about this story! The adventure of Ben meeting Pringle, along with the surprise of Pringle returning with him to his world was so much fun to read. I had a great time reading about Pringle's own adventure of adjusting to Ben's world and all the eccentricities that come with that!
Along with the fun, however, was the very serious storyline of Ben's life being turned upside down - this results in Pringle helping Ben in quite a different adventure.

As I said before, I truly enjoy Clifton's writing. It's an immersive experience reading his work. There is a lot of care placed in the details of the story - whether it is the environment, atmosphere, or character conceptualization. It is also extra wonderful for me because I absolutely love reading stories with fantastical elements. Pringle Prawn was a great character to read about and I was truly invested in reading about her experience and her ultimate decision.

Readers of fantasy will definitely enjoy this book - although, I think every reader should give it a try. I mean, who doesn't need a little Pringle in their day?
