I want to people to know that, although I will always recommend you start from the very beginning in a series, it is not going to ruin the read for you. There is such a great mix of the natural cozy-ness of a "Cozy Mystery", the creativeness of having music involved AND the paranormal! I love a mystery with some paranormal twist to it and this book definitely satisfied me. In a world of cookie-cutter mysteries, it's refreshing to read such a creative undertaking. Gordon made it such a treat to read about someone as intelligent and eccentric as Gethsemane. Nothing is treated too lightly - it is such brilliant writing. Truly, one of my favorite things is that Gethsemane is a confident woman who doesn't need a counterpart to be seen as "whole" - she simply does what she does to the best of her ability. And guess what? She does it really well.
Mystery readers will surely not be disappointed! Read on!
