Punk Rock Flea Market, Art, and Books

Good afternoon readers!

I'm coming at you today with a different kind of post. I want to tell you what I'm up to, so you can get to know the woman behind the blog! (If you care to. If you don't, just ignore me.)

Last month, I took part in my first Punk Rock Flea Market where I was trying to sell some of my embroideries, and prints of my artwork. See below:

Not the most impressive set up - but it was my very first, and I was extremely nervous and excited! I didn't sell much, but I was so happy to sell my very first embroidery. I, sadly, did not take an updated photo of the finished product, but it was a variation of this:

I also sold a print of this bad ass girl right here (she seems to be a fan favorite!):

Art and Books

I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately, so I picked up a romance, Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren. There's something about a contemporary romance that always seems to bring me out of my funk. One of the many reasons I appreciate romances. I've been logging my reading into the app Bookly. Have any of you used this? I really like it! I started my log when I was reading The Kiss Quotient last month (by the way, have you read The Kiss Quotient? OMG I loved it). Aside from slowly coming out of that reading funk, I am also working on getting back into my creativity so I can make new drawings and embroideries. It's been far too long since I've been in touch with my creative side, and I want to make up for it. Also - I have another Punk Rock Flea Market coming up (it's once a month), and I want to just do better. Here's hoping!
