In the past, I've tried to do spooky reads in the month of October. It's never worked out how I wanted because I am not the best at staying on track with my reading. My goal this year, however, is to get started earlier (like, now), and to chronicle it on here!
I am determined to read spooky reads from here until Halloween (and, let's be honest, forever and always). I'm always looking for horror books to read because, for some reason, some bookstores (*cough*Barnes and Noble*cough*) don't feel the need to give horror its own section. So, browsing doesn't work in this case for me.
My online research is much more lucrative, and below is the list of books I've found recommended again and again in Halloween read book lists. I've excluded books I have already read (with the exception of Misery, which I'm currently reading). I can't read them all (I mean, It is on the list. That's probably not gonna happen), but I want to see how many I can get through! What do you vote for? Should I read something that isn't on the list? Help a ghoul out! (see what I did there? lol)
